Wow! what a night. The best turn out of the year so far. It was a humid night with a stiff wind ou t to the turn and what about those flies!! Angus Jardine flew round in his fastest for this course, his closest challenger and best Plomesgate rider was Evert fresh from his miles in Majorca, in 23:52. Second placed Plomesgate rider was more closely fought with just 2 seconds separating Trevor and John. Other notable rides were Becky's futher improvement giving her the lead in the handicap competition again, and first timer Julie Groom who did an amzing time on her mountain bike. What would she do on a proper road bike? It was great to see 6 female riders the fastest being Julia in her fastest of the year on here in 25:27.

Well done to Jim, Hazel and Rob who had to rush up to the finish getting there only minutes before Angus came hurtling over the line.

Timekeeper: Jim and Hazel Ingram

Pusher: Robert Cotton
