It almost felt like summer, with the forest mosquitoes feasting on the riders at the start line, and a strange yellow warm thing up in the sky.

The winner was visitor Richard Woodward, with a very good under 24 time. Evert managed to beat Matt for the second position, a remarkable achievement that not many have had the pleasure to experience.

The good weather had beneficial consequences for a number of riders, with Bev, John, Ron P, Ron S, and Valerio recording the best time on course for the season.

Rob Cotton made the first appearance on course for quite a long while, since moving up North, and showed us that he still can cycle: a short 26 on a fixed wheel bike is a very good achievement.

Visitor Paul Clarke got the wrong exit at the roundabout and had to use the reverse gear to get back on track, but in spite of that still managed a good 27min time.  Wrong roundabout exit no.3 and counting, we are going to set an unbeatable record this year.
