Committee meeting.
The most recent meeting of the committee was held on Thursday 27th September 2007 at Pete and Bev Whelan’s. Some points to come out of it are:
Due to Matt Donaldson leaving the club for a new challenge next season we are looking for a new Newsletter Editor. It is a fairly simple job and relies on Club Members sending in pieces and stories for inclusion as well as getting information on training rides and Club events out to the membership. A willing volunteer would be appreciated for next month. I understand we may have a volunteer but just in case that is not the case then any one interested should contact Matt.
Club Kit Manager
Also the Club Kit Manager role has become vacant for the same reason as above, Marshall Crowe has volunteered for the role so watch this space. I will pass on the current Club stock of kit and so anyone interested in a shirt should contact Marshall.
Thanks, Matt.
PCC 2007 Dinner
The PCC Dinner 2007 will be at The Bell Hotel in Saxmundham. The Table D’Hote menu was £18:50, this may change but is a good indication; it gave 3 or 4 choices for starter, main and dessert. We will get a room to ourselves, served together and allow for a chance to socialise during the evening.
The confirmed date is Saturday December 1st.

Rob is racing
Rob Cotton’s has sent an update on his ‘return to racing’. Despite have a poor middle part of the season due to work, I managed to finally get some form for the last few races and end the season with a 23:19 for a ten and 11:28 for a five which is a PB by 2 seconds for me. This was including catching my 3 minute man on the fastest part of the course but with a car in between us until the traffic coming the other way cleared. This was somewhat annoying, causing some colourful language as you can imagine and cost me at least 15 seconds.
………and finally
This interesting bike can be used to cycle through long grass and maintain traction as the rear wheel is on trimmed grass. Pete may even be able to utilize it in Grass Track events!

And as a parting shot here is my No1 reason for going to Italy to ride in the Dolomites!

Beats the hell out of Didi the Devil if you ask me, the Italians really know how to construct hairpin bends, I wish I could have got a clearer picture of the bend but this daft women kept getting in the way! J
A short edition but I can only put in the stuff that I am sent to edit, it is your newsletter please support the new Editor.
