Hill Climb

Adrian McTigue retained his title as the club’s best hill-climber on Sunday (Nov 5th) at Semer.  His time of 55 secs was down on his own performances of the last couple of years, but that could be down to his controversial tactic of pulling a foot out of the pedal at halfway, to give himself an extra adrenaline surge for the second half!  Despite this, he was still quick enough to pick up 8th place.

James Ward (Cambridge CC), the 2005 winner, was victorious again, a second or so ahead of Steve Grimwood, whose second place made him the East District champion.

New editor needed

After five years of producing the Plomesgate newsletter, we decided it was time for an injection of new blood and vitality.  Hopefully the new newsletter editor will be agreed at the AGM and producing the December edition.  Thanks for sending in your articles, and keep up the good work for the new editor.
