The last one of the year saw another brilliant turn out of 17 riders again the majority of these were from other clubs and a six were 16 or younger. A small scare with a burnt out car blocking the course cleared with minutes before the start. The riders were met with a stiff wind once out of the forest, which slowed most riders down. Jim improved to take first place. Other notable rides were Sue Broadbent visiting from Bungay in 27.22, Jack Holliday improving 4 seconds, newcomers Richard Farthing and his father Adrian, of Pedal Power fame, battling it out, with Richard getting the better. Other newcomers to our course were Matt Bones Smith in 30.36 and Sarah Jane Jones in 32.06, let hope we see more of them next year.
