Main Route/Profile
80.3
miles - 3,930ft Ascent (more than Snowdon from sea level!) Great fun ride. Absolutely
p*ssed down for a while
(marked in red on map.) Heiko unfortunately had a
near-catasrophic
spoke
failure
which curtailed his ride.
Jon Stringer did the 50 mile version whilst those
of us who were really mad did the surprisingly hilly 75
- with riding to/from
the event we turned in just over 80 miles . [SS,NS,JC,HW,JStr,JS]

22.9 miles - 1,015ft Ascent. Morning ride making the most of light winds
that

4th July (God Bless America - Yee Haw!) - Pebmarsh

23.6 miles - 781ft Ascent. Really enjoyable evening ride with an extra 'pulse
raiser' where we were chased by a pack of voracious hounds - ok, in reality
a couple of yappy and surprisingly fast/persistant Jack Russells! [SS, JS]
4th July - Wormingford
10.5
miles - 'Lunchtime loop' to check whether wost of my cold had passed (it
had)
and whether my new chainset/BB were working Ok (they were!) [JS]
1st July - Adastral Park
19.5 miles. Trains were absolutely b*ggered, but bike ride was good. [JS]
