30th August - Around Nayland

miles - 734ft ascent. A shake down after having not been on the
bike much over the holiday period.
Tried out some new tracks - one good, the other ended up vanishing in the
middle of a field!! [JS]
20th August - Gt. Horkesely and Boxted
13.3 miles - 313ft ascent. A welcome return to the roads of our Tandem - shame about the rain! [HS, JS]
17th July - Wormingford, Bures, Lamarsh, Sudbury & Cornard

miles - 1,192ft ascent. A bit like the ride on Wednesday,
but with an extension
to Sudbury - Very Hot!! [JS]

miles - 523ft ascent. Quick blast around a few hills
before picking up a
couple of thespians (ooh er, missus!) [SS, NS, JS]
6th July - Nayland & Lt. Horkesely

Very pleasant apart from the midgies
and stag beetle attack on Neil! [SS, NS, JS]
2nd July - Castleton & Mam Tor

miles - 2,316ft ascent. Fewer climbs than 01/07/06 but those it had were
big and 'orrible!
Some amazing views and cycling where I've walked before and never dreamt of
going by bike! [MB, VB, MH, JS]
1st July - Ladybower & Win Hill

miles - 3,456ft ascent. Very long, hot hard day with some
amazing mountain
biking and two chain breakages! [MB, VB, MH, JS]
