16.3 miles, 393ft ascent - Bloomin' windy. Nasty on the way out, but rather nicer on the way home!
26th, 29th & 30th January - Wormingford

25th January - CC Sudbury Reliability Ride
48 miles - 1,847ft Ascent. What sh*tty weather! The rain would have been

Ok without my wimpy legs! A truly horrible day with a particularly nasty return
leg into the wind - I'm just glad it's over! Still I got in within the time
limit and got my certificate (see below) [VM,JS]
19th, 20th & 22nd January - Wormingford
10.5 miles - 'Lunchtime Loop' [JS]
18th January - Shrub End & Abberton Reservoir
20.4 miles - 856ft Ascent (same route as 07/12/08). Fortunately the rain stopped
just before we started and it turned out to be quite a nice morning! [SS,PB,JS]
17th January - Countess Cross
20 miles - 751ft Ascent. Very windy and cold - a real grovel out into the wind, but much nicer on the way home! [JS]
16th January - Stanway
7.5 miles - 329ft Ascent. Pleasant ride over to Stanway to drop of a Scouts form. [JS]
12th & 13th January - Wormingford
10.5 miles - 'Lunchtime Loop' [JS]
11th January - Wormingford Back roads
5.9 miles. Family ride - very pleasant. [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]
5th January - Wormingford
8.5 miles - Abbreviated 'Lunchtime Loop' keeping to main roads as side roads a sheet of ice! [JS]
4th January - Wormingford
11.2 miles - Slightly extended 'Lunchtime Loop' checking out whereabouts of Bottengoms Farm [JS]
1st January - Wormingford Back roads
5.9 miles. Family ride - Absolutely blooming freezing! [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]
1st January - Burnt Dick Hill & Lt. Horkesley
15.7 miles - 559ft Ascent. First (very chilly!) ride of the year followed by
coffee and cakes (nice!)
