30th August -Rivenhall & Coggeshall

36.3 miles 1,390ft ascent. Enjoyable ride with Heiko back from Germany for the weekend.
A good ride with an enjoyable tea stop in Coggeshall. [HW,SS,JS]

29th August - Messing & Aldham

24 miles - 940ft ascent. Pleasant cycle over to Messing for a pub lunch
then home via a tea stop at Mill Race Nurseries. [HS,JS]

28th August - Commute

10.5 miles. Exchange and home via the Garrison [JS]

27th August - Commute

11miles. Exchange and home via Horkesley [JS]

26th August - Commute

24th August - Lt. Horkesley & Wormingford

52.5 miles - 2,006ft ascent. up to Helen's parents' for the day. Lovely weather including a helpful southerly wind :-) [JS]

21st August - Commute

9 miles. To exchange via Lexden then straight home. [JS]

20th August - Commute

19.8 miles. Back to work (Boo! Hiss!) To exchange via Lexden then home via Boxted Straight Rd, Nayland and Lt. Horkesley. [JS]

19th August - Wormingford

12 miles. Lunchtime loop (evening) with the addition of Chancers & Fossetts to follow some deer. [JS]

16th August (Evening) - Plage de la Mare

2.3 miles. Family ride over to beach for a last run around on the sand before handing back the hire bikes. [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]

16th August (Morning) - Plage de la Fosse

2.3 miles. Family ride to the beach with an awesome hill down to/up from the beach. [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]

15th August - St Germain

8.4 miles. Off road ride including some big hills and riding along the water's edge. [JS]

14th August - Kermiton Circuit

9.5 miles. Family off road ride. [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]

12th August (Evening)- Gallinee

13.6 miles. Following rather confusing VTT trail markers over to where we stayed last time we visted the area
and back through Matignon. [JS]

12th August (Morning) - Matignon

9.7 miles. Along Piste Cyclable to Matignon Super U and other shops for Ice Cream and souvenir hunting. [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]

11th August - VTT Route 22 Kermiton and Centre Equestre

8.1 miles. Enjoyable evening ride with plenty of off road sections. [JS]

10th August (Evening) - Matignon

10.1 miles. Ride along Piste Cyclable to see whether it was suitable for family (yep!) [JS]

10th August (Morning) - St Cast

5.61 miles. Collected hire bikes (pretty manky) and rode round the town to
see the other beaches. Rather snarley and hilly. [HS,RAS,SPS,JS]

5th August - Black Day: Portsmouth

Some b*ggers stole my Giant, Helen's Specialized and Simon's Felt - grrrrrrr.....

4th August - Commute

13.8 miles. Exchange and home. Out via Eight Ash Green, home via Horkesley [JS]
